Vampires

overcoming fear of the blank page

I suspect vampires. I do. I haven’t read any vampire fiction, but I’ve watched all of Buffy and I saw Interview with the Vampire at the cinema, but I turned up late and my friends went in without me and I sat up the back by myself. I’m not some weird vampire follower, vamp afficianado – I do not suffer from vamp-aphilia.

But I suspect them. Particularly when I see a boarded-up window.

This building already has the darkest tinted windows ever to be seen outside of a NASA space vehicle. These tinted windows aren’t normal; they’re not human. But this building is abandoned, so who cares? We could smash in all these otherworldly windows and no one would care.

And someone did smash in a window. And someone did care.

Vampires fix broken window

I suspect vampires.
