At your convenience

overcoming fear of the blank page

I spoke recently about having job interviews in toilets, a ridiculous opinion that I stand by (I’m just that perverse).

I particularly stand by it when I remember all my resumé cover letters which say, “I am available to meet at your convenience…”

  1. I like the old Roman toilets, they “pooed” and discussed, I personally think it is an excellent place to conduct an interview. They apparently have one in your part of the world- Roman Toilet

  2. Oh I’ve totally been there! It’s in Wanaka, quite close to Queenstown. They have a giant maze and everything! Who doesn’t love a giant maze??
While I’m all for people chatting in their conveniences, I’m not sure if I could do it personally. Whilst weeing, certainly, but pooing? I don’t know. I like to shut the door and focus on the job at hand.
