Nanowrimo printables and tools for Notion, Excel and Sheets

It’s that time of year again! Nano approaches! And in an alcohol-fuelled frenzy, I have created the essential Nanowrimo tools that I need, that you need, that the whole world needs.

My famous Nanowrimo printables return – these are basic calendars that you can print out to help you keep track of your daily word counts.

I’ve also updated my infamous Nanowrimo Excel calculator – for the particularly nerdy amongst you.

This year, I’ve added a similar version but for Google Sheets.

And finally, a super basic Nanowrimo words tracker for Notion. I’m a new convert to Notion and I really love it. You’ll notice that it’s not super pretty – you go nuts and add any colours and columns that you like. I’ve simply done the hard work of making each day’s targets. I know people like to make their Notion pages beautiful to look at – I am not one of those people. Mine are purely functional, so feel free to make it your own.

Nanowrimo printable calendars

My Nanowrimo printable calendars are available in green, blue, red, gold and orange. I can’t really tell the difference between any of these colours… but I know people like to have options.

Nanowrimo Excel word tracker spreadsheet

I’m not gonna lie, my Excel spreadsheet is one of my favourite things in the whole world (sorry friends and family). I use it every day for all of my writing projects.

This version is nice and simple and set up for Nanowrimo 2021. It lets you know how many words you need to do to stay on track so you can get a snapshot of how far behind (or AHEAD!) you are.

Your nerdy Excel spreadsheet for tracking your Nanowrimo words… You nerd.

Nanowrimo Google Sheets word tracker spreadsheet

We don’t want the Word nerds to have all the fun, so this year I’ve recreated the Nanowrimo words tracker spreadsheet in Google Sheets.

You can access the document here – and then just make a copy and save it to your own Drive.

Simple Nanowrimo words tracker for Notion

I’m a recent convert to Notion so thought that this year I’d create a simple Nanowrimo words tracker for Notion users.

You can find the template here.

Good luck you beautiful nerds! May the Nano be with you.
